How to Use WC-Mini Cart Widget

Do you know about Cart? In this documentation, I’m going to show how you can use the WC-Mini Cart widget. Also, I’ll tell you what is its work.

So, let’s start the doc.

To Insert Widget

Inserting widget, it is just a matter of dragging and dropping. As you see in the screenshot above.

Content Tab

Using the Content Tab, you’ll be able to make a layout of a particular part of a website. And in this regard, some handy sections in the tab will assist you a lot.

Now, I’m going to show the sections of the tab and how they work behind the widget.

Mini Cart

What is the actual work of WC-Mini Cart widget? This widget allows you to show how many products have been added to Cart. and also the total price of the products being added to Cart.

For example, you want to add the watch titled Scout Brook in Steel to Cart. Just, hit on the Add To Cart button. As you see in the image below and follow the arrows.

From this section, you can manage price amount, cart icon, and badge using the Yes/No switcher buttons. In addition, you can adjust the alignment and icon position. In case, you want to change the cart icon(such as Cart Medium, Bag light, etc.), you can do that just from the Icon control. Look at the image example below.

Offcanvas

Go to the Content tab > Offcanvas > and check all the controls > hit the Mini Cart to open Offcanvas.

Mainly, using this section, you can make the layout of the Offcanvas where you’ll be able to show your Cart.

Mostly, this section will let you add Cart Title and select Animations. You can also adjust the Width of the Offcanvas.

Another thing is you can manage Offcanvas just using the switcher buttons as for example Flip, Close Button, Overlay, etc. Keep your eyes on the image above.

Custom Content Before and After

Simply, go to the Content tab > Offcanvas > then, activate Custom Content Before and After switcher buttons.

One thing is that these two sections will appear when you’ll activate the corresponding switcher buttons from the Offcanvas section.

In general, in this section, you’ll be able to add text before and after the products added to the cart. See the image example above.


Style Tab

Now, let’s work with Style Tab. The tab will easily have you style the web content (text, image, video, etc.) of the page you require to design. 

Styling with the tab in Elementor will always give you a fantastic experience.

Let’s have a look.

Mini Cart

Simply, go to the Style tab > Mini Cart.

Basically, this section will let you style the Cart. In addition, the section will allow you Cart Icon and Cart Badge together.

Offcanvas

Product List, Content, and Offcanvas, you will found these three modes under the Offcanvas section. In terms of the every single mode, you’ll be able to style the cart in the Offcanvas mode.

Product List:

Go to the Style tab > Offcanvas > Product List.

Content:

Go to the Style tab > Offcanvas > Content.

Offcanvas:

Go to the Style tab > Offcanvas > Offcanvas.

Offcanvas Close Button

There are two modes(Normal and Hover) in this section. Under this two modes, you’ll be able to style the close button.
