How to Use FAQ Widget by Element Pack

FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Question. Actually, it is a list of questions and answers intended to help people understand a particular subject.

The FAQ widget developed by Element Pack will allow you to open questions and answers sessions for your clients or visitors on your website.

The guideline below about the FAQ widget will get you to walk in the right way to use the widget. Moreover, I’ll guide you in different phases of how you can insert & use the widgets to design layout for the content (text, image, and video, etc.) you want to work with and style as well.

Content Tab

The Content Tab having some handy sections for making an attractive web page will genuinely get you to have a structure of the web content (text, image, video, etc.). You will find a total of three sections and several controls here to work with.

Let’s have a look.



Layout

In this section, you can edit or select all the controls and can also enable the switcher button(Yes/No) in accordance with the design.

Go to the section. With the default functions, if you are to use another function, you have to activate them. For example, Active Item No control to open any specific items as I’ve used 5 to open the 5th item.
Thus, you can go for other controls like Multiple Open, Filter Bar.

Query

This section works for setting the source location of data that you need to display by the reference like Author, Categories, Tags, and Formats and you can do it along with the default settings. Read more

For example, come to the Query section and select the Manual Selection. From the Categories, you can set data sources like Author, Buying as you see. Moreover, you’ll be able to use other controls such as Limit, Order by, Order.

Read More Button

This section here sends visitors to other pages for information details. As well as you can add an icon or image with the button.

For example, go to the Read More Button section and set an icon as you see from the icon library along with icon position and spacing.



Style Tab

It is time to work with Style Tab. The tab will confidently have you style the web content (text, image, video, etc.) of the page you want to design. You will see a total of five sections and several controls here to work with. 

Item

In this section, you can set alignment and spacing between all the items. Simply go to Style Tab > Item.

Device icons like desktop, tablet and also mobile will give you the full confidence to make a responsive design for the devices mentioned at the beginning of this sentence.

Title

This section will allow you to set the background and text color with Box Shadow, Padding, Border Type, Border Radius and also Typography. Read More about the typography, padding, and border-radius. 

From the control Background Type, you can use classic or gradient options to get solid and gradient color. Likewise the Normal tab, you’ll be able to work with the Active and Hover tab.

If you want to add an image as a text background, you can do that. Simply go to Image and select one just clicking on Choose Image. 


Icon

In this section, you can set alignment and spacing between the icon and content. Simply go to Icon (Normal, Active, Hover) and select Icon color along with Spacing.

Content

Read More Button

Actually, there nothing more to do, just go to Animation and select one (Grow, Shrink, etc) of them in the animation option. One more thing, you can add spacing between icon and button text.
